BAN homework over the week end

You ever heard the expression never bring work home because it causes stress.well if students go to school 6 hours a day 5 days a week why should we have to waste our weeks ends too on school work.week ends should be left out homework wise.whats the point of going to school if most our work happens at home.teachers shouldn't be allowed to assign homework over the week end it should be against school policy.
