Carolina Beach Sidewalks

The Town of Carolina Beach’s Five Year Utility Plan currently includes double sidewalks on all roads between Dow Road and Lake Park Boulevard. We, the undersigned, do not need or want the proposed sidewalks on our quiet residential streets. We do not care for increased foot traffic. The proposed sidewalks would cause many of us to lose half of our front yards and put sidewalks near our front doors.

These proposed sidewalks are NOT wanted, NOT needed, NOT an improvement, and NOT considerate of the residents whose properties will actually be affected by them.

The town should use their resources on things that are needed and wanted by the residents. We respectfully request that the leaders of our town reassess this issue and take into consideration the desires of the residents, removing these unwanted sidewalks from the plan.
