We need to stop people from labelling pigeons as flying rats just because they have integrated into urban life from wildlife. They are a good standard bird and deserve human love just like all birds, land and sea animals alike.

The pigeons do not carry disease that is a myth.
They fall ill like any human does. The pigeons deformed claws are usually caused when the bird gets their claw stuck, and they try and fly away until the claw is pulled off. If this does not work, they will try to peck their claw off.
The deformed feet is a disease known to pigeon fanciers as bumblefoot. Its a streptococcal infection of the toes caused by poor nutrition, minor injury and the pigeon standing in its own feces. This gives it gangrene.
Alot of people don't like pigeons. They call them "rats with wings." What do you say to people who don't get it when it comes to pigeons?
People don't like pigeons, because they don't understand them. What we don't understand, we hate and want to destroy. People don't know that pigeons have saved thousands of British and American troops lives during times of war through carrying messages. They're like people and they have aptitudes for certain things and they are harmless and unique animals.
