Save our Schools!

By closing Brownsdale Elementary School, our entire school district suffers. Our children may be put in larger class sizes with less 1-on-1 teacher interaction. Teachers could possibly be laid off, which means less teachers for our current student population. Our middle and high school students may not get sufficient class offerings as student enrollment drops and less funds are available for activities such as band, choir, or FFA. Our property values will begin to drop because new families, with young children will look toward living in a more stable school district. Our present and future enrollments will continue to drop and we will continue to lose state funding based on each student.
