Demand a Fair Pension Deal for Part-time Workers!

The government is claiming to offer every working person the opportunity to benefit from the new Work Place Pension Schemes.
But no provision has been made for the growing number of people who work in two part- time jobs, rather than one full time one!
. A lot of them will find that, like me, even though their total earnings meet the criteria, individually, they don't. This means that, although they are kindly allowed to join the pensions scheme and pay in themselves, the employer is not obliged to add a penny, and nor is the government.
Please join me in calling for a fairer deal!
Demand that eligibility is based on total earnings, that the government pays accordingly and that each part time employer makes a pro-rata contribution.
