There is so much hypocracy as of right now going on with A&E. Phil Robertson is entitled to his opinions in the United States. A&E allows you to say what you would like, as they promote, however, it is only in the case in which they agree with what you say. Phil was prompted to share his beliefs, therefore, he is entitled to express and voice his beliefs. Everybody can respectfully disagree with various opinions, however, that is what is so great about the United States of America. If you do not agree with what another individual says, then do not support the show anymore. You have the power to change the channel in the case that you would no longer want to watch the show. As Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal has stated, if you do not agree with a political ideiology, then you have the right to quit watching the show. Jindal mentioned that he did not approve of what Miley Cyrus did, which could ethically be worse than what Phil Robertson stated, however, she has not yet been dismissed from her contract. Joe Biden and Barack Obama have even made poltically incorrect and controversial statements, however, it had to be Phil Robertson who took one for the team in order to express what foundations created America, correct? This needs to corrected to promote equality and expression in the United States of America. Sign this in order to express your concern for our right to free speech. Additionally, A&E should bring Phil Robertson back to the show.
