Stop Feeding Honeybees Genetically Modified Foods

A combination of things may be causing our bees to disappear- the important insect that pollinates our food crops- through what has become known as Colony Collapse Disorder, (CCD).

Disease, pesticides and pollution have been examined as a causes for honeybee deaths, and the sudden loss of a colony’s worker bee population.

But there is something else coming to light that commercial bee keepers do in order to harvest honey from a beehive. They take the honey, (which is the food source for bees), and replace it with high-fructose corn syrup.

While corn syrup itself is not a genetically modified food- the corn coming from Monsanto is, and there is a very real possibility that the genetically modified food source is killing honey bees. We ask the Environment Protection Acency to further reseach this, and prohibit commercial beekeepers from feeding corn syrup to honey bees.
