Our men's soccer team deserves better kits for the World Cup. What NIKE had "created" for America's 2014 World Cup bid looks like nothing more than glorified golf shirts that could be purchased from the Wal-Mart clearance racks. They deserve better. We as fans deserve better. We are the greatest nation on this planet, yet we show up to major sporting events dressed as a joke. As American's, we are masters of ingenuity, engineers of inspiration and the architects of creativity. Why not highlight those qualities on a global stage? We have the LEAST innovative kit. Even behind the likes of South Korea, Cameroon, and Mexico. If you're as embarrassed of what Nike suited our men in, sign this petition and give our players and fans what they deserve. It's time for America to shine on the World Cup platform. Not be marched out in our grandfathers Sunday golf shirts.
