Demand better safety for our children at bus stops

I am writing in regards to a busy intersection that I believe poses safety concerns for children and motorists. The intersection is at Geyer Springs Road and Baseline Road. This intersection is a host to many accidents, both motor vehicles and pedestrians. We are in desperate need of a solution to this problem. This intersection is also a bus stop for children in elementary, middle, and high schools. The children must cross the street in the busy traffic to get on and off the bus. I am proposing that we move this bus stop. One way that this can be done is by moving the bus stop into the neighborhood away from the busy intersection. This will allow safety for the children as well as the motorists. 25% of Arkansas’ accidents happen at this one intersection.
