Keep the Feather River Campout at Spanish Creek

In 2017, the Mt. Hough Ranger District and the vendor in charge of managing the Spanish Creek Campground (Royal Elk) had some concerns that arose mostly due to the size of the campout compared to previous years. FRC attendees have a special affinity for Spanish Creek, and for many people it is one of the highlights of their summers. The volunteers who run the Feather River Campout (FRC) are committed to working out a solution that will allow FRC to continue throwing its annual event at Spanish Creek while allaying the concerns of the District and Royal Elk.
