I SUPPORT county funding of the GREENBRIER HUMANE SOCIETY!

On Wednesday, June 19th, the County Commission will meet to determine whether or not they will continue to fund the Greenbrier Humane Society.

In addition to promotion spay/neuters, adoptions, etc..., GHS participates in the facilitation of reuniting lost pets with their owners.  The GHS has had 833 animals surrendered to-date in 2013 - where will these animals go if the County closes the shelter?
So far in 2013, we have had 219 dog adoptions & 155 cat adoptions (almost our full FY12 totals!!)

How about that annoying dog barking next door? Without the GHS & the corresponding animal control employee, there will not be a resolution for your concerns.
