Dear Ukraine: Sorry We Elected an Idiot

Dear Ukraine,

We're sorry.

Russia invaded your country. Russia has bombed your cities, killed your people, attacked your infrastructure and tried to take your land.

So naturally, Donald Trump is telling YOU to stop fighting back.

Seriously.

Trump is now publicly demanding that Ukraine stop attacking Russian oil refineries because the attacks are contributing to higher fuel prices.

You know, the Russian oil industry that helps finance the Russian war machine.

The Russian war machine that's attacking you.

Apparently Trump looked at a war Russia started, saw Ukraine fighting back, and somehow decided Ukraine was the problem.

We wish we could explain it.

We can't.

We elected an idiot.

But please know that Donald Trump does not speak for all of us.

Millions of Americans still stand with Ukraine. We still believe that Russia is the aggressor, Ukraine has the right to defend itself, and Vladimir Putin should not get rewarded for invading his neighbor.
