Electric vehicles save consumers big money on maintenance, repair, and fuel costs versus gas-powered vehicles—plus, more electric vehicles on the road mean less pollution. Nevada is currently considering adopting Advanced Clean Car standards that would reduce greenhouse gas emissions AND make more electric vehicles available for sale in Nevada—a common-sense plan that improves consumer choice, saves on gas costs, and reduces air pollution.
But unless leaders hear from constituents who want investments in groundbreaking technology, more public charging stations, and incentives to purchase zero-emission vehicles, Nevada could be left behind when it comes to a cleaner transportation future.
