In less than a week, we have a historic opportunity to make our voice heard in Washington on animal rights, clean energy policies, the war in Iraq, and civil rights, among other issues. But while you are voting, thousands of like-minded minded people won't be - giving Conservatives control of Congress for two more years.

We're calling people who often don't vote in mid-term elections like this one to make sure they get to the polls. Thousands of people vote for the President, but forget about the importance of voting for their Congressional Representatives! If we just get these people to vote, they'll provide a winning margin in many of the closest races.

Getting out the vote is easy and fun. You will be volunteering from home when it fits your schedule. And when you pledge to help, MoveOn.org will send you everything you need to know to get started.
