Demand a Pedestrian crosswalk for the chilldrens safety in our community and lower vehicle speed control

Despite the speed limits on the Brown street, during school pickup and dropoff times between 7:00a.m. and 7:30a.m. and 2:30p.m. and 3:00p.m., the children are in desperate safety measures while crossing the street in order to return home safely.

This petition is being address to the Mayor of Alton to address the issue of installing a pedestrian crosswalk at all of the children's pickup and dropoff sections on Brown street and/or controlling the speed limits during dropoff and pickup hours during school days.
