The Moving Forward Act: 

• Expands access to solar, creating grant programs to help low-income homeowners, residents of multi-family affordable housing, and individuals who are under-served

• Helps schools reduce their energy costs through energy efficiency programs and renewable energy improvement grants. 
• Invests in a modernized electric grid to ensure that our power system can efficiently deliver the additional electricity supplied by renewable energy sources. 
• Safeguards the solar tax credit by extending the federal Investment Tax Credit (ITC), which is slated to decrease in 2021 and be eliminated in 2022.
