Hungary Has Made Street Homelessness a Crime

Whereas the Hungarian Constitution was recently amended so that anyone caught sleeping in the streets must either pay a fine or go to prison,

and whereas many homeless people have no place to go or sleep except on the streets;

therefore, we the undersigned feel that the homeless should not be treated like criminals, and the Hungarian government must repeal said amendment that violates their rights.
