I started a petition to help promote change in extending the statute of limitations on filing claims to hold Dr's, Mental Health Dr.'s more specifically due to the complicated aspects of these types of cases. But any case that is warranted a longer statute. But I Also want the laws put in place to keep children & families safe to be amended in a way that are more effective.
CPS and other agencies like them need to communicate with each other when they find a Mental Heath condition present in any investigation being done. They have access to information that citizens & families don't have access to, understand or don't want out. Lives need to matter!
There should be mandatory time frames that mental health patients are monitored when they have a change in psych. medicines or when it is found that a patient has stopped taking their medicine & their state of mind has deteriorated because of it.
Noncustodial parents with a known mental illness should be granted supervised visits only.
If it can happen to my family it can happen to yours! Kylee Forrest's life matters and all lives matter. She lost hers but this doesn't have to happen to anyone else!
This is a serious issue that needs to be looked at!
