Clean Up Cluster Bombs

Cluster bomb units are deadly weapons that release "bomblets" when they are dropped from the air, peppering an entire area with explosives. Many of these bomblets fail to explode on impact; so years after wars and conflicts end, the land remains unusable -- and dangerous.

These brightly colored explosives look like toys to many children, who are injured or killed when they pick them up.

More than 30 countries have ratified a treaty that bans cluster munitions starting August 1. But millions of bomblets still plague communities around the world from Iraq and Lebanon to Laos and Sudan.

Fortunately, the Nobel-prize-winning organization, MAG, is working in countries to find and remove these dangerous items. They're saving children's lives and enabling communities and countries to recover from violent conflicts.
You can make a difference by helping MAG's life-saving work. Show your support for efforts to remove cluster bombs and help children and communities stay safe.
