Iowa is a leader in clean energy — wind and biofuels support nearly 80,000 jobs. Ethanol is used to produce twice as much power than any other state and 27% of Iowa power is produced from wind. Iowa's climate opportunity is now and the growth of clean energy is crucial for Iowa's future.

Climate change is the defining challenge of our time and it will have devastating effects if we do not challenge elected officials and political leaders to plan for the future. It is time we demand a climate change solution calling for #50by30 from our elected officials and lead the global transition to a clean energy economy.
