Coloradans Need More Affordable Health Care

Coloradans are struggling with unaffordable health care costs and the problem is only getting worse.

Citizens of 14 Colorado counties only have one insurance carrier option. Insurance premiums have risen an average of 27% in the last year alone — these costs have risen especially steeply in Colorado's rural communities.

Our health care system is far from perfect and we need to make sure we're doing everything possible to ensure more people have access to quality and affordable care — especially those in rural areas.

No one should have to risk their health because they can't afford quality health care. We need to take any opportunity to study possible solutions to address the high health care costs standing the way of Coloradans health.
