We believe all animal pounds and holding facilities in Australia should legally be required to have a certified rescue/rehoming program in place to irradicate the unneccessary euthanisation of healthy rehomable animals and unneccesary animal suffering.

We believe all animals should be given a minimum 30 day holding period in all facilities for owner collection and another 30 day holding period for Rescue Groups to be given the opportunity to rescue/rehome & rehabilitate an animal. Currenlty the minimum holding time can be as little as 72 hours (WA).

WE demand a central website where all pounds/holding facilites must upload photos and details of animals in their care.

WE demand CCTV be installed in all pounds and holding facilites for access by pet owners and animals welfare groups.
