Help Stop Animal Testing

Hi,
Please help stop animal testing, a lot of company’s still test on animals and there is no laws saying the can’t. Many animals are killed and hurt in many ways animal testing is one of the harshest animal abuses in the world. Some animal testing is not even needed but they do it anyway. There are over 500 companies’ that still test on animals. A few well known companies are L'olay, Cover Girl, Suave, and Johnson and Johnson. Please sign this petition and you can save many animals .
I am a firm believer that with today’s technology testing products on animals is completely unnecessary.
Animal testing of new drugs for side effects can be useful in our fight to end disease.
Animals do NOT need to be tested on for the development of new cosmetics or hair products.
I believe that in light of these statements there are circumstances where animal testing is necessary and there are times when it is not.
If animal testing is not necessary then in my opinion it makes it just plain cruel.
As many as 115 million animals are experimented on and killed in laboratories
in the U.S. every year. Much of the experimentation-including pumping chemicals into rats' stomachs, hacking muscle tissue from dogs' thighs, and putting baby monkeys in isolation chambers far from their mothers-is paid for by you, the American taxpayer and consumer, yet you can't visit a laboratory and see how the government has spent your money. You can't even get an accurate count on the number of animals killed every year because experimenters and the government have decided that mice and rats and certain other animals don't even have to be counted.
