Petition to halt the Excel Pawnee-Daniels Park 345-kV Transmission Project through Route Alternative B and/or C

The proposed Pawnee-Daniels Park transmission line project consists of a new double-circuit 345kV transmission line between Xcel Energy’s Pawnee Substation near Brush, Colorado and the Daniels Park Substation south of the Denver metro-area. The project area includes Arapahoe and Douglas Counties, City of Aurora, and the Town of Parker.
We, the undersigned, request the halt of any additional transmission lines through Alternative Route B and/or Alternative Route C as potentially proposed by Xcel Energy or any other organization associated with the proposal approved by The Colorado Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) or approved Certificate of Public Convenience related to Senate Bill 07-100, SB100, or any other proposal/Bill with similar contemplations and routes like Alternative B or Alternative C. If inevitable, utilization of Alternative Route A or (existing transmission corridor) is the only option supported and one of logical choice.
