From non-discrimination laws to domestic partner benefits to safe schools for our youth, this year's election will have an enormous impact on vital issues directly affecting the LGBT community. We can have a say in what our government does on these issues and others of equality, but only if we don't sit on the sidelines during the recall election on June 5 and the general election this fall.
