Speak Out for a Clean Energy Future

A clean energy future is closer than you might think. According to Stanford University professor Mark Jacobson, all 50 states could transition to 100% renewable energy in the next 35 years.

This would save Americans an average of $4,500 a year in energy costs and could create hundreds of thousands of manufacturing jobs. It would also save billions annually in pollution-related health costs, not to mention economic opportunities to build renewable power plants.

With little downside, what is stopping us from making this a reality? Between climate change denying politicians and the fossil fuel barons funding their campaigns, there are strong forces in Washington trying to slam the brakes on clean energy. But we can’t let them win.
