Demand the Release of Journalist Dorothy Parvaz

On April 29th, Al Jazeera journalist Dorothy Parvaz landed in Damascus, planning to cover events in Syria, but was promptly arrested and hasn't been heard from since.
Syrian authorities acknowledged that they were detaining Parvaz, a good sign that pointed to her eventual release, but weeks later, Dorothy is still being held. Family, friends and various government officials are putting pressure on Syria to release her, but haven't been successful yet.
Recently, Syria reported that Parvaz had been deported to Iran, one of the countries she holds citizenship in, along with the U.S. and Canada. The Iranian government claims that she committed "violations" while travelling and are investigating, but haven't confirmed that she is in the country.
Journalists, no matter their nationality, must be protected as they travel to do their job. Join us in demanding that the Iranian government release Dorothy Parvaz and allow her to return to her work or home to her family and friends.

Dorothy was trying to do the job that she loved when she entered Syria, and whether or not she committed "violations", she needs to be able to contact her family and let the world know that she is safe and healthy.

I ask that the Iranian government disclose all that they know of Dorothy Parvaz's whereabouts and condition. I also urge the government to release her and allow her to return to her career and family.
