We, the undersigned, would like to bring in the motion for Judge Bennett to step down from
overseeing any progress in the case of: Damien Echols, Jason Baldwin and Jessie Misskelley jr.
As Americans and citizens around the world, we have the freedom of speech and present this
petition for the removal of Judge David Burnett off of the case.
1. Judge David Burnett, made several judicial errors. Including participation in meetings with
prosecutors about the case without defence attorneys present.
2. On another occasion, Burnett urged the conclusion of the trial because he had a
turkey hunt to attend.
3. Overruled any motion for Damien, Jason or Jessie's appeals for a retrial.
4. He has overruled important EVIDENCE that would have exonerated Jason, Jessie and Damien and would have set them free.
Now for the second part of this petition.
We ask that the case of Damien Echols, Jason Baldwin and Jessie Misskelley be moved to
another jurisdiction. The people of Arkansas have all ready proven themselves to be biased and
prejudicial. October 30, 2004 The Innocence Protection Act became law. We believe that these men
have the right to a fair trial and to move the case elsewhere to be tried properly would give them a
better chance to exonerate themselves once and for all.
