Stop shark finning in India

PEOPLE OF INDIA - I am asking for your help and your voices. India is the largest shark finning nation. Sharks are caught, their fins chopped off, their bodies thrown back into the sea, they are still alive.70 000 tonnes of shark fin is sourced from India. But it isnt an Indian cuisine....1 tonne = 650 sharks.... 20 fins earn the Indian fisherman 25 rupees (50c AU) Foreign buyer sells soup for 6000 rupees ($115 AU) PLEASE HELP STOP, IT ISNT WORTH YOUR MARINE LIFE FOR FOREIGN MYTHS OR MONEY. SPEAK OUT PLEASE Fins are exported out of India to China, Hong Kong, Singapore & Taiwan. The fin holds no medicinal use... Shark Fin soup a myth. Shark fins have no taste, they are only used for texture, the soup taste comes from other ingredients... India, I am BEGGING you to stop this PLEASE
