An 8-Month-Old Puppy Named Ace Was Allegedly Beaten on Camera. Demand Justice!

Ace is an 8-month-old puppy. When police found him in New Bedford, Massachusetts, he had bruises across his head and body and a swollen eye socket. Police say surveillance video allegedly shows him being struck again and again. Detectives found him after reviewing the video, and he was rushed to a veterinary hospital for treatment. Sign the petition urging the Bristol County District Attorney's Office to pursue a lifetime ban on animal ownership and mandatory mental health counseling in this case.

The woman accused of hurting him has been charged with animal cruelty, and she surrendered Ace to Animal Control. Police credit the people who came forward with information for helping them find him and bring him to safety. Ace was just a puppy, too small and too young to fight back or understand what was happening to him.

Whoever could do this to a puppy clearly is not in a healthy place, and a charge alone will not change that. A lifetime ban on owning or caring for animals would make sure no other puppy ever depends on her. Mandatory mental health counseling would address what led to this, so she gets real support and future animals are protected.

Ace was only 8 months old, and he was allegedly beaten by the person he depended on.

Sign the petition and demand the Bristol County District Attorney's Office pursue a lifetime ban and mandatory counseling in this case.
