What could be more criminal than this?
These animals have been kept in captivity their whole lives.
Many of them don't naturally belong in the UK anyway.
And they don't have a chance at life without human support.
But when times get tough and the animals are no longer profitable, what happens?
Humans want to throw their lives away.
This specific zoo is a nightmare for the animals...
"The zoo, which houses more than 300 animals, has previously faced calls to close after it emerged a lynx was accidentally strangled in "a terrible handling error" just days before a second lynx was shot and killed following an escape," according to the same source.
That's why we're calling on the County Council of Ceredigion, Wales, where the zoo is located, to do two things:
First: send in trained personnel to rescue the animals and find places for them to stay and be cared for outside of the zoo.
Second: shut down Borth Wild Animal Kingdom once and for all.
