Animals should not have to die just because shelters are full. It is not their fault that humans are too cruel to take care of them Euthanasia is just another word for murder!
When prisons are overcrowded, we do not kill inmates. When schools schools are overcrowded, we do not kill children. When hospitals and nursing homes are overflowing, we do not kill patients. We shift the overflow around and build more. Why not animal shelters?
God gave man these wonderful pets as companions to give us unconditional love. He also gave man the responsibility to care for these companions. Sentencing them to death IS NOT caring!
I realize this takes money. If the federal government would stop spending money on such things as illegal aliens making them comfortable, there would be more revenue for our animals. I know where I would rather see my tax money used.
If you have any feelings for these poor unfortunate animals, Please speak up. Write or call your your senators and congressmen on both the state and federal level. Be the voice for these poor unfortunate animals. Their only crime is that they were born and are temporarily homeless. Thank you.
