School Janitor Kills Wounded Bird! Demand Dismissal of the Janitor Now!

A Janitor, Mr. Markus Meister employed at the Seetal School in Kreuzlingen, Switzerland sabotaged a rescue attempt of a wounded raven by animal activists. We believe he shot the raven and finished him off before the animal activists arrived with a cage and bird experts. A bird sanctuary (www.voliere.ch) was prepared to treat the wounded bird. The Raven was killed about twenty minutes before the animal activists arrived. It was a local Raven that lived on the school grounds and was liked by the community. We fear that the cantonal veterinary office will not pursue this case although a complaint was filed. It is against Swiss law to kill a wild bird unless you are a farmer and the raven is attacking your crops. We would like the school board to fire the janitor for animal cruelty and allegedly using a firearm on school property. We will send the petition to the Director of the Kreuzlingen School Board.
