HELP Stop Dog Fighting In Upstate South Carolina

In the majestic Upstate mountains and foothills there is an ugly practice taking place behind the behind the natural beauty of the landscape. That practice is Dog Fighting and it is not limited to any breed, size, or even one species. Female canines in heat, puppies, elderly and emaciated dogs and kittens and cats are all used as BAIT to get male dogs to attack one another.
Many people are trying to get someone to do something but even the SPCA of the counties are unable to stop it. It is long past the time our local and state government should act with a loving and caring heart. Craigslist is filled with people who breed animals for just such a thing as it is filled with people picking up not only free pets but expensive ones, for a dog fighter's investment in each of the animals can be extremely high because the payout for fighting them exceeds anything that they invest.
Please help me to put a stop to this selfish, abominable practice by letting those in the Upstate know that we are not going to accept the disgusting status quo.
Once we have started working on eliminating such places of horror and saved precious lives we can find Loving and Caring Lifetime homes for these wonderful animals. These animals deserve a life of peace and safety, love and hope.
