WE do not as humans have the right to cage a bird for our own satisfaction
If the tables were turned i'm pretty sure birds wouldn't immobilise us and keep us in cages to look at because were so beautiful they just had to had to us all for them self.

Wrong is the word that comes to mind when I imagine or see a bird in a cage, cruel, sadistic, barbaric and selfish are just a few that follow and I am aware that I am not alone in this thinking. Which is why I am presenting you with this petition. To cage a bird is to deprive it of its most natural desire, to fly.
Birds believe it or not are not the dumb animals some people say they are, they are remarkably intelligent and have feelings like us such as grief and joy.If given the chance to live a natural life they would gather in flocks and fly in groups or pairs as they are highly social animals, they also preen each other, play and share egg incubation duties.Which is why is so wrong to condemn these animals to depressing, restricted, lonely lives.
No bird would ever choose to live in a cage.
Enforce a law in which breeding, selling or purchasing a caged bird is illegal by 2017.
