Pelham Community is a neighborhood that lacks any green space or playgrounds that would encourage safe outdoor play areas for the children of the neighborhood.
The available lots to be built on have limited yard space. As a result the properties cannot accomadate approperiate play equipment.
The homes in the community are a minium of 2,400 sf. The homes in Pelham Pointe encourage family occupancies. The environment and space available in the community do not. As a community we feel with continued growth that this problem will continue to get worse.
If Ryland home agrees to provide a fenced playground/picnic area the homeowners in support of this cause will support Ryland Homes during their grand opening on May 11 from 12-2. Homeowners will proudly wear our Pelham community t-shirts and welcome any future homeowners into the community.
If Ryland Homes cannot provide a fenced playground/picnic area then the homeowners that choose to support this cause will install a For Sale By Owner sign on their front lawn.
By signing this petition as a community we agree that a Fenced Playground/Picnic area should be built to support neighborhood social ties, safe environment for the children to play and improvement in our home value.
