The Great Barrier Reef needs our help!!

The Great Barrier Reef which is our world heritage area is in danger. A company call Adani are going to dump 5 million tonnes of dredge spoils on top of the Great Barrier Reef as well as building many ports for mega ships which are carrying tonnes of oil. Our government, Tony Abbott has allowed Adani to proceed this project and said that dumping 5 million dredge spoils aren't going to destroy the reef, nor will the thousands of ships passing through it.

Adani has promised to protect our Great Barrier Reef but that is what they also said in Mundra India. They built a similar coal mine in Mundra And they said that no mangroves would be destroyed during this project but they were. 75 hectares of mangroves were destroyed, they dumped dredge spoils on top of them and funnelled water away from them leaving it to dry up and die.

Help us to save our world heritage area and sign our petition to aid Greenpeace and GetUp Australia, it would be a great help to these organisations because they are trying to stop it as well.
