Demand Rougemont School keep current school uniform

Having an entire new school uniform is such a waste. We should be teaching our children about sustainability, reusing and repairing, not creating an entire new one. And for what purpose? The current school uniform is smart, pleasing on the eye and fit for purpose. There is no need to change it. There is no benefit for pupils. It’s an extra financial cost for parents.

However the old uniform is disposed of or donated the fact remains new uniform will be created needlessly, adding to greenhouse gas emissions.
