Speak for Alexander Archipelago wolves before it's too late

Despite evidence provided by biologists and warnings from Greenpeace and the Center for Biological Diversity, US Fish and Wildlife still refused to list the Alexander Archipelago wolf under the Endangered Species Act.
Their numbers have dropped by 60% in the last year alone and now only approximately 89 of these genetically diverse members of this subspecies of gray wolf remain. A number as low as this spells many problems for genetic diversity as we have seen happen to red wolves and Mexican gray wolves. In the case of Mexican grays, no one took action until there were only 7 remaining in the wild. Recovery efforts have been ongoing for over 20 years and yet still they have been largely unsuccessful.
It is up to us not to let this kind of disaster happen again. The government was designed to serve us and we, as tax payers have a say in where their resources are exercised. Please join in this effort to stop the extinction of this unique subspecies. We have made a difference before and we can do it again. The Yellowstone wolf reintroduction was possible because of the voices of the many so let's step up again, and again, because we ARE the difference!
