Stop the Sellout of Canada's Natural Resources

Trade deals should work for Canadians, not against us. That's why we've got to stop the Canada-China Foreign Investment Promotion and Protection Act (FIPA).

FIPA will give China's state-controlled companies the same protection under the law as private Canadian companies. In effect, it will give China access to and control over Canada's natural resources for the next 31 years.

The Conservatives negotiated this bill in secret, without consulting Canadians, because they know that Canadians would never stand for it.
