We ask that New York CIty implement the usage of environmentally safe biodegradable plastic bags in every store in new york city. At the moment New York City still uses unsafe , harmful plastic bags which choke the environement, the land, the oceans , even children. They take thousands of years to degrade. New York City can do better tthan that! Please take the lad and have the vision for a safer environment for our future and childrens future.

We the undersigned with all due respect for your office and the environment ask that you write into law an implementation of the usage of biodegradable plastic bags in all stores in nyc. To whit, to aid in the preservation of our lands and water, and life both animal and children by this simple change from harmful plastic bags to environmentally friendly bags. NYC can take the lead and show a vision and concern for the environment and the futuire of our planet and children.
