Remove City Manager Kristen Denne
It has become apparent over the last few years that The City Manager Kristen Denne has not been doing her job properly. She has laid off numerous firefighters compromising the safety of the citizens of Johnstown. She also laid off the only employee who made the city money 2 years ago i.e Mr. Cliff Kitner who used to be the city's Recreation Director. She also refuses to meet with Landlords and Tenants to discuss the much maligned Landlord/Tenant Ordinance. It is for these offense that we should have her replaced with someone who will make decisions with the best interest of the people of this great city. even though we did not vote for her, we can call for her resignation for failure to do her job.
We the citizens of Johnstown ask for the removal of City Manager Kristen Denne. She has proven time and time again that she is not governing with the best interest of the city. She has made decisions that have adversely affected all of us who live in this city, i.e laying off firefighters and laying off the only city worker who generated revenue for the city, i.e. Mr. Cliff Kitner the former Recreation Director. It is these decisions as well aas numerous others that lead us to this point. For this city to rebound we need someone who will work in the best interest of the city not against it. I thank you for your time and hope we can reach a better conclusion.
