SALE OF NATIVE AMERICAN JEWELRY
Items which are Indian made from 1939-1980 were very often NOT signed. We want a category for these particular items. We want all sellers listing fraudulently in Native American categories removed. They, for the most part, are the ones who are making and selling copies and frauds.
We the undersigned ask that a special category for Native American items post 1939 which do not bear signatures or artist names be created. Under current rule, we are being forced to lie about the age of our items in order to get around the no hallmark rule. And that immediately puts us in the position of not describing properly and opening ourselves up to making returns. Most everything made between 1939 and 1980 was NOT signed and research will prove me out. It is the public who needs to make the right choices and be made aware of the forgery situation that has become so rampant in this industy.
