Stop lifetime money for government officials after they are no longer in office.

  • recipient: elected officials getting paid for the rest of their lifes. I feel we pay elected officials for a service while they are in office and when they retired, get voted out or what ever the reason they leave these positions, the income from the people should b
just think how much money that would save and take out of the budget if they were afford medicare monies that they had paid into just like the rest of the people in america.  They did their job and now they are back in private practice or on medicare.   Possibly we should take care of the president but not senators and congressmen.

I also  think there should  be a time limit on how long they can serve in office and must remain a resident of the state they represent,
