Take the Fort Wayne Komets to the AHL

We here by petition to take the Fort Wayne Komets from the IHL and move to the AHL.  We believe that we are more than capable than playing in a league with a greater fan base and more potential to get players drafted to the NHL.  Fort Wayne Komet fans are some of the greatest in hockey, they love their Komets and want to see them compete on a higher level, rather than seeing them play the same 5 or so teams over and over.  Fort Wayne takes great pride in their hockey and want to see them compete on a higher level and make the game more exciting for both the fans and the players.  Komet fans believe that we would get T.V. exposure and help boost the moral in the Fort Wayne area, along with bringing more and more fans to the game and more visitors to the Fort Wayne area, which is good for both the Komets and the city of Fort Wayne.  We would like the Frankes to consider this move on the behalf of the fans.  We love our Komets and we want to see good quality hard nose hockey and to be as competitive as possible.
