Samual "Sambo" Weaver found his son unresponsive in his room on 02-07-2017. His son was later pronounced dead at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital. Sambo had an emotional response, punching holes in the wall and had to be tazed by local law enforcement. He was restrained and booked at Madison county jail.
Sambo reacted in anger to his son's death and he was able to receive counseling and ministering at MC jail. Resources he probably wouldn't have available at home.
We would have all reacted to this tragic event differently then anything we expect. And now Sambo has to lay his son to rest and face a felony charge.
We would like the charge to be dropped or reduced due to the understanding of the tragedy that was taking place at the time of incident.
Goals:
Drop or reduce the charge to anger management at no cost to Samual Sambo Weaver.
