“End Klein ISD dress code”

On September 18th, 2019, Klein ISD enforced a mandatory dress code check. Students were required to stand from their seats so that their third period teacher could check if they are within the dress code. If a student was found out of dress code they were sent to the commons so that disciplinary actions could be applied. This is an extreme and humiliating action to be taken upon students. Especially our fellow female students have been singled out time and time again for attire that is commonly worn by them. Students are disrupted daily by announcements regarding dress code and today’s announcement was more than a disruption of students education, time and comfort. This has gone too far please sign this petition for the future of our education and our human right to express ourselves.
