Maine Voters, Support Same Sex Marriage!

The Maine Senate and House decided not to vote on whether to legalize same sex marriage, and instead, leave it up to Maine voters. So it is in the hands of the voters as to whether same sex couples will be allowed to marry this November or not.

The Public Polling Policy showed that 47% of voters support the law, while 32% oppose it. Maine, as of now, is the only state in New England that doesn't have some sort of legal union for gay couples.

Please tell Maine voters to support same sex marriage so that equality can continue to become a reality. Love is love.

Please vote in support of same sex marriage, as both the House and the Senate in Maine have left it up to the voters to decide whether this passes or not. Everyone deserves the right to love, and to marry. All citizens should be treated equally and fairly under the law.
