Ban Duck Shooting

Duck shooting is cruel, environmentally unsustainable and socially unacceptable. Lake Connewarre, for example is a RAMSAR wetland of international significance; home to 150 bird species; several migratory species listed as threatened under the Victorian Flora and fauna Guarantee Act 1988. Wetland ecosystems across the state are stressed enough without being inflicted by the savagery of duck season.
