Tell Gov. Christie not to cut the NJ Affordable Housing Trust Fund

Dear NJ Lawmakers,

As a voter in New Jersey, I urge you to support policies and programs that help
create the homes and jobs our residents need. I hope you will:

Restore the $30 million Gov. Christie is cutting from NJ%u2019s Affordable Housing
Trust Fund. This money is being siphoned from dedicated housing resources. As a
result, NJ will lose at least $100 million in private investment, 1100 jobs and $1.3
million in local property tax revenue.

Adopt a housing plan that really creates homes and jobs. Gov. Christie%u2019s
housing plan and Sen. Lesniak%u2019s proposal (S.1) will produce few, if any, homes and
jobs. People with special needs, seniors and working families need more housing
choices, close to jobs and public transportation.

I hope you will stand with the people of New Jersey and fight for the resources and policies we need to move our state forward.

Thank you
